- Craft Beer is brewed using traditional methods with respect for the craft of brewing and mostly in small batches.
- No artificial ingredients are added, as is the case in industrial brewing methods; think rice, corn, etc. A Craft Beer brewer does not hesitate to experiment with new ingredients.
- One might notice the offer in the type of beers is more diverse, whilst certain styles can be subscribed as trending at certain times: IPA's and Saison’s are good examples of currently trending types of beer in the Craft Beer scene.
- Craft Beer is more expensive because of the use of high quality ingredients affecting the production cost.
